Commercial refrigeration engineer • City of Harrisonburg, Virginia

Join our team: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in City of Harrisonburg, Virginia. The job is at a supermarket cold-chain site. The role involves service split AC units and VRF systems; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets. You should have: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
