Framing carpenter — Hand County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Hand County, South Dakota. You will cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions. What we are looking for: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
