Gtaw welder • Maui County, Hawaii

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Maui County, Hawaii. Day to day you will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. Requirements: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Rotating shifts.
