We are recruiting: we are hiring a beldar in Jeff Davis County, Texas. The job is with a civil contractor. What we are looking for: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times The role involves: • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $30 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
