Vacancy available: we are hiring a vehicle technician in Buchanan County, Iowa. The job is in a fleet maintenance depot. Ideal candidate: • At least 2 years' hands-on experience as a car mechanic • Able to read wiring diagrams and workshop manuals • Physically fit for lifting heavy parts Day to day you will replace clutch plates and gearbox components; road-test vehicles to confirm the repair; replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends; check and top up coolant, brake fluid and power-steering fluid; replace alternators, starter motors and batteries. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
