We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Jefferson County, Kansas. The role involves: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Full-time with occasional weekends.
