Cook — Suffolk County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cook in Suffolk County, New York. You will be based at a roadside dhaba. Day-to-day duties: • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO Requirements: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
