Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Presidio County, Texas. The role involves: • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Valid driving licence for site call-outs 6+ years on the tools preferred.
