What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium On a typical shift you will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job.
