Vacancy available: shuttering and concrete hand (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Harris County, Texas. You will be based on a road and bridge project. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours On the job you will handle: • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish We offer $9,000 per project plus benefits.
