Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold Day to day you will braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; clean condenser and evaporator coils; service split AC units and VRF systems; trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture.
