Car painter — Jefferson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a car painter in Jefferson County, Iowa. You will be based in a spray booth. On a typical shift you will sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour. Requirements: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
