The role involves: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE Part-time with flexible hours.
