Cnc production machinist — Dinwiddie County

Join our team: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Dinwiddie County, Virginia. Day to day you will set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; load and index turning tools in the turret; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish. Requirements: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Meals and transport allowance provided.
