Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in City of Virginia Beach, Virginia. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. On the job you will handle: • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
