Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Portage County, Wisconsin. You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Strong attention to safety and load limits The role involves: • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground Rotating shifts.
