Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Sterling County, Texas. Requirements: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Day-to-day duties: • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
