Immediate opening: we are hiring a plasterer in Bergen County, New Jersey. The job is in a refurbishment property. Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline The role involves apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
