Join our team: we are hiring a body shop technician in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in an insurance-approved repair centre. Day to day you will mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting; replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
