Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Randolph County, Missouri. The job is in a commercial cold storage facility. Ideal candidate: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold Day to day you will recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture.
