Shuttering and concrete hand wanted in Carter County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Carter County, Tennessee. The job is at an infrastructure site. On a typical shift you will lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified. You should have: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
