Brick and block layer • Escambia County, Florida

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Escambia County, Florida. The role involves: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
