Ironing operator — Andrew County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an ironing operator in Andrew County, Missouri. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Day to day you will operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots. Rotating shifts. We offer $4,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
