Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in West Carroll Parish, Louisiana. The job is on an industrial construction site. You will weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
