Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in City of Roanoke, Virginia. You will be based on a structural steel site. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Day-to-day duties: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols 2+ years on the tools preferred. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
