Short order cook wanted in City of Bristol

Join our team: we are hiring a short order cook in City of Bristol, Virginia. You will work at a busy restaurant kitchen. On the job you will handle: • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces You should have: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat 1+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
