Urgent requirement: head baker (Louisiana)

Now hiring: we are hiring a head baker in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a café with an on-site bakery. Day to day you will rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; score the top of loaves before baking; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough. What we are looking for: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
