CO2 welder — Saint Clair County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Saint Clair County, Michigan. The job is on a structural steel site. You should have: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
