PVC profile cutter wanted in City of Chesapeake

Immediate opening: we are hiring a PVC profile cutter in City of Chesapeake, Virginia. You will be based at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. The role involves: • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees Requirements: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely 5+ years on the tools preferred.
