Shuttering fixer wanted in City of Bristol

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in City of Bristol, England. The job is on a residential tower site. On the job you will handle: • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs Ideal candidate: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. £1,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
