Glass and glazing technician • City of Danville, Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in City of Danville, Virginia. You will measure window and door openings and order glass to size; install toughened and laminated safety glass; replace cracked or broken window panes; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools an advantage • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
