Now hiring: concrete finisher (Oklahoma)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Blaine County, Oklahoma. You will be based in a residential housing project. On a typical shift you will lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Six days a week, one day off.
