Fire and safety officer — Dunn County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Dunn County, North Dakota. You will work at a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements The role involves: • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
