Gtaw welder — Montgomery County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Montgomery County, Kansas. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. You will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection 2+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
