Urgent requirement: we are hiring a presser in Sussex County, Delaware. The job is at a dry cleaner's. You will spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; give each garment a final press before packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
