Great opportunity: argon welder (Wales)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welder in Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. The job is on an industrial construction site. Your main tasks: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Rotating shifts.
