Fabrication workshop technician — Woodford County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Woodford County, Illinois. You will work on site fitting windows in new-build flats. On a typical shift you will wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router. Requirements: • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits Full-time with occasional weekends.
