Now hiring: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in District of Rutland, England. You will work on a busy domestic building site. The role involves: • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish Six days a week, one day off.
