Blocklayer • Guzamala, Borno State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a blocklayer in Guzamala, Borno State. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. On a typical shift you will brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Pay around ₦1,600 per hour, based on your experience.
