Argon welding operator wanted in Edgefield County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Edgefield County, South Carolina. The role involves: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
