Health and safety supervisor wanted in Borough of Stockport

Vacancy available: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Borough of Stockport, England. On the job you will handle: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates Ideal candidate: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
