Immediate opening: we are hiring a tyre and wheel fitter in Benton County, Oregon. Ideal candidate: • Awareness of workshop health and safety • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets Day-to-day duties: • Remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
