Road roller operator — Yadkin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a road roller operator in Yadkin County, North Carolina. You will be based on a busy construction site. Requirements: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster On the job you will handle: • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations Full-time, day shift.
