Roofing technician — Houghton County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a roofing technician in Houghton County, Michigan. The job is at a sheet metal roofing workshop. The role involves: • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Insulate and ventilate the roof void Requirements: • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) 4+ years on the tools preferred.
