Vacancy available: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Capitol Planning Region, Connecticut. The job is in a gas distribution network. The role involves braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Driving licence for travel between sites Six days a week, one day off.
