Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium technician in Wayne County, Illinois. You will work at an ACP cladding fabricator. What we are looking for: • Accurate to the millimetre on cuts and mitre joints • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes Day-to-day duties: • Cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw • Fabricate and fit aluminium composite panel (ACP) cladding • Crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine • Load and offload fabricated units without scratching the finish Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
