Trainee butcher wanted in Darlington County

Now hiring: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Darlington County, South Carolina. You will be based at a halal meat counter. The role involves: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking Ideal candidate: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $17 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
