Machine operator (earthworks) — Winston County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Winston County, Alabama. The job is at a drainage and utilities contractor. Requirements: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones On the job you will handle: • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience.
