Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tailor machinist in City of Suffolk, Virginia. You will work on a ready-made garment production line. Requirements: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown The role involves change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet.
