UPVC window fitter — Portsmouth

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Portsmouth, England. The job is at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. Day to day you will install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents. Requirements: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
